Answers, not documents
Video calls can be faked and profiles can be borrowed. AssertGrid checks the one thing a scammer can't fake: a live person, in front of a real camera, right now.
The same link works for a first date, a deposit or a new hire. Each answer says exactly what was checked.

Your assistant can send a check and read the answers for you. The person always sees who's asking.
How it works
Text, email or message it. Add the photos you were given, such as a profile screenshot.
In their phone's browser, no app. They see who's asking and what will be checked before they start.
Each one says what was checked, the result, when, and what it doesn't prove.

Fair to both sides
A request from a stranger has to feel safe to accept. Every check is built so the person on the other end knows exactly what they're agreeing to.
The page names the account that sent the link, and what will be compared, before anything starts.
It runs in the phone's browser. AssertGrid never asks them to sign up, pay or enter a password.
If they say no, you're told. No one is forced, and you still learn something.
AssertGrid never says "verified" or "safe". Each answer states what it checked, and what it doesn't prove.
A liveness check tells a real face from a photo, a screen replay or a mask.
Doesn't prove who they are.
The live face is compared with each photo you supplied, inside the face you marked.
Doesn't prove the name on their profile.
A blurry photo or a face turned away gets an honest "not determinable", not a guess.

A check is just a link, so it goes wherever the conversation is happening. The person opens it on their phone and is done in about a minute.
Questions and answers
No. AssertGrid doesn't search records, criminal history or credit. It answers narrow questions: is a live person there, and do they match the photos you have.
Not on its own. A photo match shows they're the person in your photos. The optional ID check compares the name on their ID with the name they gave you. The ID is read, not authenticated, and the answer says so.
The live selfie is compared with your photos and then deleted. No face data is kept once your answers are produced.
Answers stay in the requester's account and can't be passed around as a badge. Every link names the account that sent it.
Yes. The same check is available as an API with webhooks and per-check pricing. Choose "a business" on the form below and we'll send you the docs.
